About Mormons

Mormons are just ordinary people with an extraordinary  truth! They DO believe in Christ – in fact, they too know that he is the only way to salvation – and they also know that he is a separate being from his Father in Heaven (but they are one in purpose).  Most mormons are striving to follow the example Jesus Christ has set for us and also follow the guidance of a living, modern-day prophet. They know that God would not leave us alone to strive through life without one when He has always given His children a prophet in the past (Amos 3:7). They know that it was Joseph Smith who was the first prophet called in these later times and it was also him who translated The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ (Introduction). Mormons read the Holy Bible too! (don’t get the wrong idea!) But they also believe that God loves all of His children equally and so in His mercy directed His son Jesus Christ to visit the people in the Ancient Americas too (Alma 26:37). The Book of Mormon is a record of this event as well as the second witness we need to testify that Chirst is the Savior of the world (2 Corinthians 13:1). So yup! Mormons read that book, go to church, pray to Heavenly Father, and strive to live worthily for all the blessings God has in store for us (as well as have fun at the same time).

And of course if you want to find out if you believe as mormons do all you need to do is ask the source of all knowledge, God Himself, in sincere and fervent prayer.
